What Papertern is

Papertern's invoice, quote and receipt makers are free and need no account. Each document is built and its PDF is made inside your browser: nothing you type is sent to us.

General information, not advice

Papertern and its guides give general information, not tax, legal or accounting advice. They are built from official tax office guidance, but every business is different, and rules change. Check your own obligations, and ask an accountant or lawyer if you are unsure.

No warranty

Papertern is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including as to accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or that it will be error-free or uninterrupted.

Liability

To the extent the law allows, Brandstars Pty Ltd is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of Papertern, including loss arising from an error in a rule, a guide or a document you make. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law or another law that cannot be excluded.

Using Papertern honestly

You must not use Papertern's tools to make a false or fraudulent document, or to misrepresent a transaction that did not happen.

Advertising and links

Papertern is paid for by advertising, and pages may show ads and links to third-party sites we do not control. See our privacy page for how advertising works and what it collects.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The effective date below shows when they last changed.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of New South Wales, Australia.
